Doing Your Best

You might already be doing your best, and that’s okay. You might be able to add in a new self care practice that you just learned about. You may be able to return to a tried and true self care practice that you had forgotten about or hadn’t had time for in awhile. You might be able to try something different. You might be at your capacity already. Whatever the answer is, it’s okay. We are all already doing our best given our life situation, and we can all always work to do a little better. There’s no need for judgment or criticism in this. It’s just a gentle curiosity to turn towards yourself. How else can I care for myself? I’m I providing myself with what I need? What am I able to add right now? What could I try out? Be curious. Play self experimenter. Where are your needs, what is your capacity. The answer you get is neither right nor wrong.
